clean install of WB 4.4
revert to earlier version

Does anyone know how to do a crystal-clean reinstall of WB4.4. Everything sort of went strange with 4.5.
I use two monitors and ati hydravision.
-(not all) but certain apps open in the top left corner, or just below the tool bar.
-strange things with some of the skin borders, showing a gap.
-can't keep IE opening at full screen - especially when launching from Opera.
anyway, I uninstalled 4.5, deleted registry folder & program folder - although nothing was in it.
Unfortunately some errors continue to happen. 4.4 was perfect before - why did I upgrade so soon
the problem is somehow settings are being retained somewhere. for example with WB unistalled my firewall remains skinned (there is an interesting story here - my firewall originally would not skin - and one day it decided to, on it's own)
-also- i think it is curious that upon a reinstall - and setting up a "per application" skinning for a program - the box remembers the last app I visited - is this because its retained in a windows setting???
