The citizens of the US elected the USA? That's news to me. I thought the US was founded following a revolution. Wasn't aware the citizens were given a choice, even back then.
Yes, they had a choice back then, and they have a choice today. They can leave, it is a free country after all. And that freedom was bought with the blood of the patriots who over threw tyranny. Sorry that is such a difficult concept for you to understand.
What communist dictator exactly are you talking about? I'm sorry but you make no sense... As far as taking "my UN" and shoving it, it's as much your UN as mine, and you can shove it if you want, but I happen to think the UN isn't perfect but is far better than the alternative which would be on single country ruling the world.
The communism of the UN. That dictates the good of the whole supercedes the rights of all. That is a play right out of Marx. Sorry, I was not trolling, and you are just not getting it. The simple fact is that the US Constitution supercedes the Un Charter in this Country. So while the tin platte dictators and bribe taking clowns of third world countries and Europe can try to dictate to us, Our laws prevent it. Even if John effing Kerry had won the election, his desire to subver the will of the citizens to a new world order would have been thwarted by the laws and the will of the people.
Go troll some where else or at least learn some facts.

Why is that? Because a disparging remark was made about Sen Kerry?
As the one girl in my class says." The UN is Euro Central." Let's forget that it loves to taunt America but it fails to recognize the growing power and maturity of nations such as India, Japan and others.
The UN system is a failure in design. And to top it all off the people in the system are even more corrupt.
Ah, the UN. A flawed system, at best. I wouldn't go so far as calling them communists, but I think it's time it went the way of the League of Nations before we hit on World War III. However, some organization similar to the UN does seem like a good idea to me.
Ah! Thank you!
A reform of UN wouldn't be a bad idea. Personally I think the security council idea is a bad one. Why would a handful of countries such as the US, Russia, China, France and England get to have a permanent seat and decide for the rest of the World?
Anyway, I agree it's not perfect, but it's the best we have for now. Not that some reform would be a bad idea though.
However, I don't need any of the near-whacked fringe stuff to have a healthy disgust with the UN - and I'd like our lawmakers to revisit our financial commitment to the UN; it needs a reality check.
Cheers,
Daiwa

NJ, I would love to agree with you. But as long as we have tinplated dictators that are going to cry fowl and throw back on us their sins, I dont think it is possible. Please someone prove me wrong!
The UN is flawed by the article linked was total hyperbole and propoganda. Veiled threats masked with little fact.
Ah! The expert speaks! All hail his words and dont look behind that curtain or ask where his clothes are!

And *you* know this for a fact, how?

As far as I'm concerned they can take a loooooong walk off a VERY short pier.

Apparently by his say so. You know the liberals, if you cant argue the message, shoot the messenger!
I know one thing, if there is any attempt to form a one world government, i will resist bitterly. That is a promise. And if anyone doesn't like that, oh well.
You will NOT be alone!
