WindowBlinds 4.5 Features: new?

"WindowBlinds 4.5 includes the new ability to change the color of visual styles through hue shifting along with modifying the brightness and saturation of the visual style." I don't get it... this is far from a new feature. I've been changing skin colors with WB 4.3 since I've had it, so what's so new about this? I'm also not totally clear on the big deal with the other "new" features, so if someone cares to explain in terms I can understand, perhaps I'll spend the $20 for the latest version. Cheers.

I believe if you have any 4.x version of Windowblinds you can upgrade to the latest 4.x version for free. Only when it jumps to 5.x will you have to purchase again or get an ODNT subscription.

how do i upgrade from windowblinds 4.4 to 4.5 if i already have the enhanced version of 4.4?

go to stardock support enter email address they will send hot link to upgrade. be shure to unistall older version.

You should only have to unload it or switch to the default windows classic theme (I switched to the default xp style) and then run the installer. Shouldn't have to actually uninstall 4.4, I didn't.

No, you're thinking of the forced colouring option. The Hue shifting is a little different. You could hue shift before only if the skin authors allowed it. Now you can force the hue shifting, giving you a broader range of colours.

Also, the alpha-bleneded start menu setup is awesom!
