icon not working?

hey i just downloaded an icon to my objectdock bar and the icons are there but they dont work. how do i get them to work? when i click on them nothing happens. They are the power icons. ( shutdown,restart,hibernate and log off) please help!

Most power icons you can download are just that, an icon and no more. However, there are a couple of Docklets out there that will allow you to power off directly from the dock. You can then use the power icons you downloaded to change the image of the shortcut:
