I love Object Dock Plus, but there are a few issues

I love ObjectDock Plus, but there are a few issues. First, for some reason when I launch Microsoft Word (part of Office XP) from the program, ObjectDock (which I have centered at the top and specifically do not have "always on top" selected) appears over the top of the Word menu buttons--this does not happen with any other application. Second, it would be neat if the Dock could be floating, rather than attached to the edges. Third, the Recycle Bin seems to work best (meaning it does not shift away from the garbage tossed in it) only when I have the option checked to show running applications on the dock.

Any responses to these issues would be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot!

On your second item..if you right click on the dock itself there is an option to "Detach From Edge"
I cannot reproduce your Word problem on my machine, and I don't use a Recycle Bin on the dock except as an indicator.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I am using a non-tabbed dock, and I see no "Detach from Edge" option when I right click the dock and the option menu comes up....

Am I missing something?

Thanks!

Sorry , I was referring to an option in the tabbed dock menu. I'm also not aware of a way to do the standard docks as floaters. Just an idea, I haven'y actually tried this but if you made a tabbed dick with just one tab wouldn't that work?

No, I cannot make a tabbed dock with just one tab because then there is no way to get the recycle bin to work where you drag and drop garbage in the bin....

But thanks for the idea!

Delete key is much quicker than drag-n-drop!
