Food / goods distribution within a same civilization

Normally, each planet keeps its own food production and, generally speaking, its own production. This is GalCiv1. Here I try to build some draft for GalCiv2, GGG (GalCiv the Great)

Sometimes this is not what you want, and sometimes it makes less sense since it excludes the reality of trading. I thought that perhaps goods would automatically be distributed within different planets, maybe with little trading vessels making the transport. They would all be automatic, going from where there is more food / less population to where you have the opposite scenario. All automatic (thus maybe harder to program).

But the player can decide to block some trading (even if one could expect some black market continuing). Perhaps the player in some situations could not stop the trading (in a given society type as free market for example). From trading between planets, you'd get a higher efficiency as a whole.

This is a DRAFT, so I know that many points aren't discussed. I did thaught about them, yet have no time to go further now.

ad, it seems that GalCiv2 won't have food distribution, although we never know what may be added if there's enough time. But right now, other issues are apparently more important.

lead to a huge increase in clutter on the screen. This is unlikely to be acceptable to most players,

moral by 10 (which reduces growth and causes negative growth if it's too low). Several turns of blockages before an attack may greatly weaken a defense. Simple and does the job nicely.

rporate something like food/goods distribution, he would not take something bringing more micromanagement. It is to be considered since more factors implemented = more MM.

n discuss and develop great concepts nevertheless ... we just shouldn't be disappointed if other concepts are more important for a while.

from going too high and adversely affecting morale.

that those minor worlds are more valuable. Just a crazy thought.
