Newbie needs help configuring widgets

Hi,
I just installed DesktopX and some widgets, including the google search bar (https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=89&LibID=34) and a stock ticker program (https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=84&LibID=34).
Is there a way to configure the settings for these widgets and others in general. For example I'm not able to get the google search bar to open links in my web browser (firefox) and I'd like the stock ticker program to display more than the five stocks it shows currently.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
