Here is a sample of far left definitions when attacking someone:

1. You have poor grammar and spelling.
Real definition is, I cannot poke holes in your argument so let me deflect it and pick on your education. Or you have no education therefore you have no opinion of value.

2. Arguing with you is hopeless. Real definition is, since you will not see things MY way, I will pick up my ball and go home, so there!

3. You point out the obvious, real definition is hey your not leaving me room to argue, or if you are going to do that your not playing fair.

4.I am only pointing out the obvious to you, real definition is, this is how I see it and you are to stupid to agree.

5. I just do not get your point of view; real definition is I can see what you’re typing but if I agree my leftwing compatriots will jump me on.


This is just a small sample, but I am sure my fellow right thinkers will come up with a few more.

On a happier note I will not be around today as I am going fishing in the Sacramento river for sturgeon, see ya tommorow!

That won't be necessary, but thanks. *Sigh* It's kind of hard to be political, because I'm an idealist and a realist at the same time, I want peace, between countries and people, but I also know it will never happen. Anyway, I'm glad you and I can have civil conversation without resorting to name-calling.

I think the nature of man is to look for the differences, and thats sad... man is warlike,, thats even more sad. I will be happy to have civil discourse anytime you want to.. polite. strident.. no name calling.. no bashing but one thing... YOU GOTTA OVERLOOK MY GRAMMAR AND SPELLING ok??

MM, why do you respond to him?  He only has sarcasm and grammar as his arguements.  He doe snot post intelligent thoughts as he gave them all away when he was a teen.  Hit the hemp too hard!

Now that's not true.  Myrr has posted some very interesting non-political articles.


Is this all we can write about these days?  The right saying the left sucks, that they're a bunch of whiny babies who can't hold an argument; that they're 'loony luddites'?  It's the same subject being hashed and rehashed again, and it's getting tiresome.  The reponse to that statement is probably going to be 'well, don't read the articles if they offend you'....but when the forums are flooded with the same subject it's kind of hard to ignore.  And I haven't been reading; that's why I've stayed away from JU for a while.

No Dharma, he is bipolar, and I dont read him.  you never know if you are going to get the rational one or the loony one.  So when he posts the loony ones, I was just saying dont respond.  When he is sane, do so.


Just look at his responses and then decide who has control of his keyboard.  I dont want to play guesing games so I ignore them all.

I do kinda find it funny that he uses an arguement that could be used for about 90% of the people who debate online, then labels the left with it. Fact and point all those points happen on both the left and right.

M-Post, F&B, and Thatoneguy were right. I'm about as middle of the road as it gets in terms of politics, and everyone uses all these and other stupid detours when they can't figure out how to argue. And, based on this response, you do, too, though yours is disguised as #6, the "Let me restate what I said over and over again until you get tired and go away because I'm irrational" argument.

sometimes when it is not even worth making a point about i do not.. if thats not clear enough . let me say this about that, I voted for making a point before I voted not too. If it is still not clear to you, let me use one of Ted kennedys more lucid speeches..
