Democrats ARE Desperate!

You would think they would learn

http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2005/1/22/203903.shtml

When I first read this story, I could not believe it.  Yet there it is in black and white.  The Democrats want to repeal the 22nd amendment so that Slick Willy can run again!

What is it that causes these idiots to want to self destruct?  During Clintons 8 years (he never did get over 50% of the vote, BTW), they lost the house, they lost the senate.  They also lost a majority of Governorships and saw the Republicans draw even in state legislators!  And due to his 'the meaning of is is' lies, they lost the presidency in 2000.

And they want to run this guy again?

Most sane people, when they run into a brick wall, do not continue to bang their head against it trying to get through.  The go over or around it, but they dont try suicide by stupidity.

Not these democrats!  They want their party to be shot down to a permanent minority party!  They cant get it out of their head that the only reason Clinton was Elected was - 1 Ross Perot, and 2, A weak Republican in 96.

If this whole story was not so stupid, I would laugh.  But I dont look forward to an America domionated by one party for the next 40 years.  I really wish the clowns who selected these leaders of the democrats to toss them out on their ass.  But when you have doofooses like Boxer, McDermott, Clinton and Kerry running the party into the ground, I dont see it happening.  They will continue to elect loony loopy luddites to their leadership, and be condemned to minority status for the foreseeable future.

Pity the people that vote for them, and their idiocy.

If we could just have a President with clintons domestic policies { I really do not care if he get his cigar smoked daily}
Merge that with reagans foreign policies...

Now thats a president........................... I really worry about who our next leader is going to be... the dems have no one.and the pickings in the republican party are mighty thin right now.

It was not the fact he cheated on Hillary (he should get a medal for that!), but the fact he lied about it under oath.  Sorry, that is not the image I want a president to project.

Why dont you run Mod??? You against Leiberman would be cute

The democratic party is not looking to appeal the 22nd amendment. And it is highly unlikely that Bubba would even consider running again.

Guy, i would suggest maybe referencing this with a real news organization instead of using newsmax.com as your only source. They have very little credibility across the board when it comes to matters of the DNC.

The DNC has a chance to deny it, but their silence is deafening.

Just Because Newsmax is conservative does not make them wrong.

Silence is deafening...You mean like Dr Rice's silence the other day? or Perhaps more like dubyas explanation of where the WMD's are. Or Where's Osama? Or why the economy is still tanking, or why ad infinitum?

It's politics guy. Plain and simple. My guess is that the DNC won't glorify this with an answer at all.

It would make an interesting election to watch though, Clinton vs. Dubya

Well, if you read the article, you see that Newsmax got it from US News.

And I dont recall Dr. Rice being silent, just putting bulkly Boxer in her place.  I also dont recall Bush being silent on the WMDs, and in fact he has been attrributed with saying a lot more than he did on the issue.

It's no more outrageous than the Republicans trying to get the constitution changed to run Arnie, in my opinion......

I did not say it was outrageous, only that the Democrats must be Desperate to want to run Mr Cigar again.

Frankly, I dont want to change the constitution for either of them.  I think Arnie would be a good president, but thems the rules.

Is this a critique of Bush's Iraq Policy?

Dr Rice tapdanced around almost every question asked by a dem. Dubya hasn't made ONE single statement about the lack of WMD's to the american public. So you are saying it's ok for the right to disregard an issue but if the dems do it they are being deceitful.

That's the prroblem. What's good for the goose isn't good for the gander...Hypocricy at it's finest...That's the GOP!

I did not say anything about a Dem ignoring an issue.  I dont see it as an issue, just a problem.  They are famous for that.  And I dont recall any non-answers by Dr. Rice.  She seemed to nail each and every one of them.

And the report on the WMDs said it all.  Why pollute the airwaves with redundancy?

Oh but they have credibility everywhere else? How utterly convienant for you.
