How can he not check in? I mean he's supposed to be an Uber Geek. Wherever he's going better have a wireless connection, or cabled access, or something. I mean Damn! I know I wouldn't stay somewhere without access. Hell, at least suss out some freebie access points or go war driving or something. I know in my little podunk assed town, we have a freebie point at the coffee house. Well price of admission is $3 bucks, coffee donation money actually. The Local Telco gives them the access connection for free, and they host some teen groups over the weekends, and give all the rowdies someplace to go on the weekends, a place to groove and gab. I keep an updated list of wireless points on my lappy for traveling throughout the 2 States I live around and suss out wherever I am going all the time, and keep a version of NetStumbler on my lappy, just in case.

Actually with the CRAZY weather and what not going on in California, we're all best to stay where we are. Lord knows I do not want to get into any of the crap I am seeing on TV. Good luck Brad and Stay far away from any Mud, Rain or Snow.

I get sent to Boston right after the worst blizzard in ten years (spent 12 hours in airports btw) there's 3 feet of snow on the ground with another 6 inches coming, and the warmest it's been here is 22 degrees. It was 3 below zero (not counting wind chill) when we landed. And Brad gets to go to California and show off Windowblinds?
