I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!!

I purchased your game "Political Machine" a few days ago from Fry's in CA. I loaded the game into my PC and I get into it right away! But then there is no saving the game and there is no starting from where you left. Plus quite a few other clitches, I really can't believe that you guys put this game out before you were able to test drive it, but I can believe that some big wig gave you a deadline and was a bastard when you said that the game should be unleahed on the public. So I came on the site thinking that you had a couple patches to fix the problems. I loaded those patches up, I am very excited to is if they work, unfortunately now when I start the game and enter the Campaigne mood and chose my politicain to play with and then go into the screen to choose my competetitor it takes an enormous time before the start button becomes availible. Then entering the next sceen where the Country is to appear first comes up the welcome sceen with the bald eagle saying it's week one in a long campaigne ahead,.....yada yada yada. I click on the start button on that but then the wlecome screen drops to the background and I can't see the map. I click around the screen and the cursor goes from place to place but I can't see anything, I enter say the financail screen and that falls into the background. PLEASE FIX MY GAME, EMAIL ME A NEW SET UP THAT IS KNOWN TO WORK, MAKE ANOTHER PATCH FOR THIS PROBLEM, I DON"T KNOW SATISFY ME PLEASE.

I do not work for Stardock, so I can not address all of your concerns specifically, but as an owner of the game (through the totalgaming.net subsrciption, not retail), I have not had any trouble saving and start off again from the last position. Nor have I had any of the other problems you mention, however, if you do a forum search on the political machine website you might find resolutions to the other issues you are having (I do not know this for certain, as I have not had any problems)

As for a patch, and I only mention this because it was not clear where you got the patch from, so please don't jump on me... the retail version of the patch is found here: Link

Also, placing your personal address and phone number into a public forum was probably not a good idea. I recommend you edit the phone number and address out.

Also, I seem to recall similar symptoms from others with older Intel integrated graphics chips. If you have such a chip, blame Intel for your problems, as they refuse to release updated drivers that support the DirectX9 functions implemented in most recent games, including Political Machine. Additionally, Ubisoft is technically responsible for all Tech Support issues with the retail version, IIRC.
