Nope, .....I really don't see a pattern here to justify
profiling, do you?

So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone,
particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport
security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile
certain people. They must conduct random searches
of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with
proper identification, secret agents who are members
of the President's security detail, 85-year old
Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor
winning and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim
Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone because of
profiling.

Let's send this to as many people as we can so
that the Gloria Aldreds and other dunder-headed
attorneys along with Federal Justices that want to
thwart common sense, feel doubly ashamed of
themselves -if they have any such sense.

As the writer of the award winning story "Forrest
Gump" so aptly put it, "Stupid is as stupid does."

It's always interesting when dumb people try to play history.  Take bahu, for instance, who now considers the Spanish to be Anglo-Saxons based on his test and thought that Hitler was a Christian.

The point of the original thread is spot on.  World-wide terrorism is disproportionately commited by young muslim males typically from the middle east.  It certainly makes sense to profile them.

But that's really not what I've enjoyed the most of this thread.  What I've enjoyed is the intellectual bankruptcy of the left we've seen here.

We've got Myrrander who responds to an article that advocates focusing on young muslim males by arguing that the US has done bad things. I assume that his point is that we shouldn't profile because we're bad guys and deserve to be exterminated. Way to go.

Then we get the rocket scientist who apparently knows nothing about history but is willing to demonstrate it for all to see by claiming that the Hitler and his cronies were Christians and that the Spanish were anglo-saxons.  Even the My Lai one is wrong. All we know about that is that American soldiers were involved.  The left is always claiming that African Americans were disproportionately represented in Vietnam.

The bottom line is, AS AMERICANS if we want to effectively decrease terrorism within the United States we need to keep a close eye on young male Muslims, usually from the Middle East. Then perhaps we wouldn't have to subject little old ladies to a near strip search to get through airport security.

Yes, a sarcastic comment, but the grammar, for Pete's sake. It doesn't portray factual knowledge or lack there of, but grammar and spelling still fall under intellect.

Academia is full of liberals who can indeed use proper grammar and have exquisite spelling abilities. However, when it comes to common sense they're clueless.

Grammar and spelling are important for effective communication, but as a metric of intelligence, lol. Which is pretty ironic since it's liberals who usually scream about any sort of objective measurement of intelligence.

Tell you what, why stop with grammar and spelling? Let's go with IQ. Nobody with less than a 100 IQ can vote for President. How's that? You want to take a bet about whose side that would hurt more? Go ahead, guess which party would be essentially eliminated as a viable political force.

Interesting. I would have thought the moral thing to do if you knew you had done evil was to accept your punishment. Perhaps your parents taught you differently, but whilst I consider Myrrander's comment a tad stupid in this case, it is possibly a morally correct thing to do to accept divine wrath through temporal attacks for your evils.

So basically, there have been events where muslims have killed people, so muslims need to be profiled because they are a threat. Now, don't start up with how many of said events there are. But let me think a moment. Hmmm, I'm a White Catholic Male......wait a minute......White Catholic Males are killing Protestants in Ireland! Oh My God! I'm a terrorist!
On a more serious note: When did this become a Right/Left thing? How about the policy? Can we discuss the policy? Or have you forgotten what we were talking about? I dare you guys to discuss an issue without it devolving into Right is bad/Oh yeah? Left is bad. All this does is make me think you have little, if any, opinion on the issue, and just jump at the chance to sling some mud. Just a matter of setting the facts straight: Sirhan Sirhan, the assasin with a double baralled name was not a Muslim. He was a christian.To your litany of alleged crimes one can add the Maths Professor at Berkeley who sent exploding parcels, Lee Harvey Oswald,Dhamer and scores more. regardless if you approve of or deplore the the thrust and the text of the *humorous* email which inspired this article (whether a quoted anonymous email is worthy of consideration as an *article* is a whole other matter), i can't imagine why or how anyone who's spent any time online would go outta their way to defend anything in which the above-quoted paragraph appears.   claiming it supports anything--much less our troops--is ludicrous.  advocating it--or anything else--be sent to 'everyone in your address book' is not only idiotic but the virtual equivalent of coughing up a mouthful of phlegm and spitting it into the public water supply.

Because they can carry the needed material to the ones who want to do something on the plane.
You see, money will make some people do anything.

For example, drug dealers know that black people get stopped on specific routes on US highway, so they hire white male to ship good and may even use black males for decoys while the real shipment gets through.

So instead of having a pattern of searching ONLY Muslims, maybe you better still search others

A major problem with this approach is that it is tantamount to arguing that if one DOESN'T subscribe to this 'wisdom', one is not supporting 'our country and our troops', and is thus left wide open to accusations of treason.
