A Great wailing and Gnashing of teeth.

The democrats thinking this must be hell

As President George Bush becomes only the 16th second term President in American history, you can hear a great wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Hanoijohn Kerry standing a mere 30 feet from President Bush being inaugurated looking longingly at what he dreamed might be his.

As this great President takes office for the second time, the opening song was “heal our land” Which I pray happens in this time of trial for America.

Through out the country you can just hear the Democrats crying and bemoaning their fate, wondering why the majority of Americans looks on them with such scorn.

I wish I could honestly say I feel bad for the democrats, but they have made their bed of liberal lunacy, now they can lay in it.

Watching former President Carter with that fake smile plastered on his face was a sorry sight to see.

Possibly at some point in the far far future another Democrat will be allowed to take the highest office in the land, but for the foreseeable future I think not!

A bit of irony here... I remember how much many people on the right bemoaned the sanctimonious assholes on the left, how the left was so arrogant etc.

I've seen the tides decidedly turn since the election. Now it's many of the strong conservatives who are doing the talking-down, doing the insulting and such.

Not to say much of the left doesn't deserve it, it's just funny how many of the self-proclaimed mighty have fallen.

As I have said many times the best of all worlds would be a sane democratic party.. with more moderates, same for the republicans, moderation in both parties is the best for america.

You would have to interject realism into what was a good diatribe!

Seriously, tho, I thinkthere will be  democrat in the Whitehouse soon.  There are too many Slick Willies, and too many bleating sheep beleiving that he never 'had sex with that woman'.

Whatever. If Carter wanted to make a statement, he would not have shown up at all.

Complain about whining, then come back with haha, we won, you're all jerks, let's call you names now.

I don't think we'll see a Democrat in the Whitehouse for at least 8 years at this point. The Dem party doesn't have any strong, viable candidates. The Republicans have McCain and Mayor Rudie. Both strong politicians with proven records and accomplishments. McCain has the distinction of being pretty much universally liked by both sides.

The Dems have Billary... that's about it as far as name recognition. Dean is toast now, Kerry won't have another shot.

But you know what? It doesn't matter one damn bit which *party* a candidate belongs to anymore. I'm more concerned with their personal beliefs and practices. I'm a registered democrat, and I admitedly lean left on a number of topics... but I would vote McCain in a heartbeat, no questions asked. If Powell ever ran (which he won't... he's too smart to go through that shitstorm) I'd vote for him over just about anyone the dems could toss up. I don't care what party anyone is, because the party labels don't really match to reality anymore. It's time we started looking at the individual more than at their party affiliation.

As for the rest of the blog, well most of it, great job I really like the parts where you did actuall sound like a moderate!

No more than I can let this stand. *One* of the 3 debates you're crowing over went to Bush NOT Kerry.

One of the debates was a draw, not a victory for Bush.

With all respect Zoomba your request must be a few months to late. I conceded when Kerry conceded, I was refering in my last comment to a debate, not the election. As for "let it die" I don't just let several months of volunteering "die" I think about it and make notes of it, knowing we teach History in our schools for a purpose.
