My Website Updated

...to a new look.

http://www.essorant.com/
Well, finally updated the look of my website, which actually is rather less 'skins'-like than the previous version.

The site now looks lighter and doesn't use frames any more (though I'm not sure why people criticise frames so much...). The content is the mostly the same, and - as usual - the galleries are a bit behind my posts here on WinCusto. I'll be updating them with my recent stuff next. I hope there aren't any technical goofs there, but I'm sure you'll let me know if there are!

Hopefully, the next new thing appearing on the site will be a new $5 3-skin pack. Expect something in the next few weeks, all being well. (Let's hope for a few more sales than 84 with this one!)

Oh - and if you have a link button on your website for essorant.com, you can use my updated one which looks like this:

I have just finished doing the same thing. I have a couple of pages at Geocities, that I use to advertize my CD's but for the past 3 yrs they looked like..... Well, being that I know very little about how you cats do the computer language, I had to settle for a basic updating programme, which I never knew existed, talk about afraid of upgrading. Well, if you read my second entry at JU you will find that I have been a very busy bloghead. The truth is I just got plain hooked and could not stop for three days..it was a two week final affair and eventually I got this blogg...something my son who is a programming monster in Cape Town.... a genius, doing his 1st year Uni. at the moment...I am surrounded by nerds....no offence meant, I am one to..but a music and artist type of nerd. Got to admit that after you have seen my 'b' grade pages at geocities you will probably want to suggest some cool upgrading in skins...I am poor as a church mouse and just love sussing out and trying to create graphic to make nice the sites...that is my zillionth different passion. Well, before I rap endlessly and bore your mind to tears, enjoy the weekend...In Jesus.

Essorant, would you like my to use the image file directly from your server, or have a copy of it on my website?

Cerebro if you want to add the HTML, you can use this on your web page:

<a href="http://www.essorant.com/" target="_top">
<img src="http://www.essorant.com/images2/essorant_link_button.gif" width="88" height="31" border="0" alt="essorant - skins and themes">
</a>

...which will add the button directly from my server. (When someone clicks on the button image, it will open a new browser window for my website, so if you don't want that to happen, edit the text above to remove the 'target="_top"' and it will just replace whatever page has the button on with essorant.com home.)

Tim, the new site looks great. It's clean as a whistle, lightweight, and easy to find your way around ... very classy. I must say, you probably have the most impressive library of WB skins of any individual ever. I'm going to go update your link button on SkinPlant now. By the way, I like the way our balls rotate on your site too.

And thank you for that comment about the WBs Mike. Coming from you - one of the skinners who's skins I use as reference models for my own - it is praise indeed.
