selecting icons for sys tray, taskbar & flyouts

Is it possible to select icons for sys tray & flyouts (I see you can just right click to change the icons in the taskbar - cool!)?

I had changed my flyout menu icons by changing them in my folder options and I'm pretty sure you can change the main flyout menu icon by right clicking it, haven't tried changing the menus icons that actually fly out yet. And you can change your systray icons by left clicking an icon and holding it till a menu pops up giving you the option to change the icon. At least you can in tabbed docks, never tried with the other docks.

Changing systray docks by holding down the left button works in standard docks too.

Not sure what your saying Lantec but I just tried that...and it doesn't work for me. It only works for systray icons. To change other dock icons you need to right click and choose dock properties.

Thanks for the tip on the system tray icons. I had to hold the icon for momemt, but it worked.

So, webgizmos, you're saying you can't change the flyout icons in object dock, just in windows. That is bit disappointing as like using the higer quality .png icons.

The main probem I am having in the flyouts is .avi icons just appearing as black squares. Any ideas?

Not really sure about changing the icons in the flyout menus since I haven't tried it. I had already changed my folder icons the way I liked them so I didn't have a need to.

And I'm pretty sure the flyout icons need to be either .png or .ico

As far as the black squares, I would imagine thats how .avi icons are recognized since it's not an image. Maybe if you changed avi file image to a particular icon then thats what would appear. Sortof like when you have a winamp file it shows up as a certain image for all winamp files.

actually, what I suspect is happening is object dock is showing me thumbnail imagage of the avi files which may be starting with a black image.

This is just a guess but after seeing that objectdock shows thumbnails of pictures when I created a flyout for my pix folder, I suspect this may be what is happening.

If you are talking about changing icons for systray, I have one problem. I can change the icon however the checkbox "show original icon in corner" is grayed out. Why?
