Doom: THe Movie?

For heaven's sake.

okay, Doom, everyone's favorite resource hog for the PC has been optioned for a movie. Not only that, but the script is in final working stages. For some reason, it doesn't involve Mars, Hell, or things that connect the two. I think this is a horrible idea, and once again brings into question the intelligence of the people tha make moves. But that is my opinion.

Please, discuss.

i heard it is also directed by a guy who has publically stated he hated video games and the gamers who play them. (also did the "house of the dead" movie based on that game )

yuck...stupid people doing videogame movies that don't do justice..I'm not surprised at all to hear this..will keep informed.
