ObjectBar

icon size

Howdy folks,

I asked about this before, but it might have been bad timing over the holiday
break to expect a response. I'm using the ObjectBar beta. I've created a number
of bars that all dock to a main interface (menu) that replaces my start bar
completely.

I've found the place where you can make a 'Various Function Item' change its icon
size by doing the 'Change Image' thing, and setting icon size there. However, when
I have a 'folder' object, I would also expect to be able to use 32x32 (or other)
sized icons for the Folder display. Currently, they only display in the smallest
(16x16) size, and it doesn't appear to be configurable.

Does anyone know of a way to change this, or modify the icon size?

Thanks in advance,
- ZJ

hold down shift when you double click the folder item in the list and it will open its config menu instead of the menu contents?

not sure if that's what you mean, but anyway...I am currently playing around with ob and I have found that I can define icon sizes for any element type one way or the other

another tip (which I discovered today by accident) - create a new multifunction item somewhere and set it to "show advanced theme editor". Clicking on this item will bring up the old style OB theme editor in which you can more easily access some of the settings that are unavailable. Of course some of these settings may be due for the chop in the full release of OB I suppose... but I am hoping that some of them have simply to be added to the new style configuration menus.

I am really looking forward to the proper release of OB2, there are alot of shortcomings in the present beta, but nonetheless OB is still my program launcher of choice
