How much of a pain could it be?

Once more into the education breach... 17JAN05

The class I am currently taking is CTC-000126, Integrated Software Applications I. It is a four-credit-hour, online, self-paced course. Perhaps this makes it sound more grand than it is.

My first three chapters (all mysteriously labeled "Chapter One") are: Basic Computer Concepts (or, "What's an Input device?"), Getting Started with Windows XP (or, "What's that start button do, anywho?"), and Creating Documents with Microsoft Word 2003 (or, "How to do the things you were required to show a basic working knowledge of in order to sign up for eArmyU in the first place.").

I hit a stumbling block; there's only so many pages I can read and online tutorials I can sit through on how to resize windows, folks.

This is why I'm not sharing a whole lot of this class with y'all.

pity me

Self Pace Rocks. You can start a new class after 4 weeks!

Talisein, 6 weeks in to an 8 week course with 2 weeks of material completed.

This is, of course, before you have a current "I"ncomplete on your record. While you have an Incomplete, you can't start any new classes.

This sounds familiar... I had contacted my professor prior to this point, though. I received an Incomplete, and an extension... which was longer than the class's original time frame (8 weeks = ~60 days, extension = 120 days).
Good luck; crunch time is usually when I do my best work.
