icon bug

This is just a littlething that is annoying me so I thought I'de see if there is a fix or if it is somethingthat will be fixed.

when I run my mouse over the icons and they magnify, if I move the ponter off the bar and happen to go between two magnified icons the icons will stick magnified untill I move the pointer back down to the bar again.

is this a known bug and is there a fix for it?..it's not a big deal but it's bugging me because it happens almost everytime my pointer leaves the bar.

???

am I the only one that has this problem?

it does it on two computers where the only similarity is that they are running athlonxp processors so i doubt it's a problem specific to my setup.

I created a magnifying dock just for you and moused over it for about 5 hours (OK, I admit that's an exaggeration ), but was not able to reconstruct your error.

Does it always happen with the same icons? Are the Dock on the two computer the same (i.e. the same shortcuts and the same docklets on them?). My computers are AthlonXP as well, so I don't think it has anything to do with your CPU.

What version of the Dock are you using?

thanks for the reply

It will do it on all of the icons including ones in the system tray on both pc's..mostly all the same icons but there are some that the other doesn't have.
It happens about 40% of the time during normal use but if you get the pointer right in between two magnified icons and slowly move it up the icons stick in that position untill I move the pointer back over it.

I have the systemtray and a start menu doclet on the dock, other than that it's all standard shortcuts for programs.

thanks for looking into it

I added the systray to my dock and the Starmenu 2.1 docklet, but still no success in recreating your error. Have you tried to use another (or maybe the default) background?

Otherwise I would suggest you have a look at the stardock newsgroup (news.stardock.com) Jeff Bargman, the developper of OD hangs around there quite regularly.

ok....thanks for checking it out...must be something unique to my setup that I'm not thinking about.
