BootSkin Related Glitch?

Assistance Requested

Greetings. I am running Windows XP Professional on an unaltered DELL Latitude D600. Everything is as it came out of the factory with no problems. Since I downloaded WindowsBlinds, BootSkins, Cursor XP, and several Wallpapers, I have experienced a screen as I load up my computer. It is totally blue and showing an error. This comes AFTER the BootSkin is done showing.

Any explanations would be much appreciated!

The program most likely to cause this problem (out of the three you mentioned above) would be bootskin.

Bootskin depends on the BIOS of the individual computer. Unfortunately there is no such thing as a standard BIOS, and bootskin might therefore not work correctly with all computers (Note, that this is exactly the reason why it is unsupported freeware). Out of the Box systems often have a tweaked or altered BIOS and might therefore not always work with bootskin.

Do the following:

1) Start the bootskin program and set your bootskin to 'default'.

2) Uninstall bootskin. Restart.

If the blue screen does not show up again, you might have to just accept that you will not be able to run bootskin on your system. Alternatively Stardock has provided sereal versions of booskin, you might want to try one of these. https://www.stardock.com/products/bootskin/
