The Paris Dakkar race. I dont know why they keep doing it? I dont know much about it, i confess. But i dont mind watching rallye. I mean Darren watches it almost every day, so i've grown to like it. But what's with the Paris-Dakkar??
I dont like it because of the death toll. Only yesterday a competitor (he had one several times prviously in his category) in the motor bikes category died.
It's true that accident also happen in other races. But it doesnt seem to happen at each race on this paticular track, you know? Whereas in the dakkar, almost every time it takes place, the race claims a life.
I also dont like it because of the money involved when you know the race takes place in some of the poorest countries on this world. It just seems out of place.
But oh well, that's just little me wondering why our world is shaped this way...
