Ok, I am probaby going to get flamed for this but I don't care. I have decided that I am going to create a shell theme but this is my first and I need help. I am quite good with graphics so that is not a problem but what I would like help with is the content. I have no idea what to put and all of the the test things I have made to get myself used to DesktopX have been good but looked crap.
I was wondering would it be possible for some people to send me some info about what they woudl like to see on this new shell theme. So you know I have an Apple taskbar with a Windows startmenu, two tabbs just under the taskbar docked to the left: one displaying time, the other; date. I also have a another autohide appbar. I have managed to get everything so far to work so there's no problem with scripting etc either.
I'm just gonna' repeat myself now but if anyone has any suggestions for content then please do e-mail me on Email. Also could you comment on a few thoughts (pros/cons/good/bad etc).
Taskbar:
Start button - For toggle of start menu
Popup Task Browser
Autohide Task Tray
System Settings - Things like sound quick link to Control Panel etc.
Sidebar (Auto-hide Appbar):
Analog Clock
CPU Meter
Processor Meter
Harddrive Monitor
CD-ROM Maintinence - Browse/Open/Close
Trash Can
Virtual Desktops
E-mail
Upto six favourite shortcuts
Group Menus - User creates new folders on harddrive and drops shortcuts into it. User can click on buttons on desktop and a popup menu will appear with those shortcuts
