widget problem under desktop x 2.39 (last beta)

I tried to use a not so old widget, "the weather widget from the Dogmaxv2 suite"
The widget does not work as it should (no animation and no forecast pictures)
I remember it worked when I downloaded it.
Is it me, the widget, or Desktopx ??
