More double dealing from the lunatic left

Double standard and raise you a double standard

Here we go again, In the most trajic and horrific disaster of modern times, here comes the elite media and the far left lunies with more bush bashing.

Katey couric leading off with 15 million Oh my God bush is so cheap he has embarressed our nation,
Then when the ante was raised to 350 million she cries with this record deficit how can we afford it?

This morning watching 2 radio host one from left one from right.

The one on the left cries Bushes miserly ways is showing the world his true colors, he waited a whole 45 hours till raising the amount I am ashamed to be an american {leave ya moron}

When the one on the left was asked by the one on the right... How much did you give.... in typical fashion the one on left avoided answereing instead asking the one on right what did you give.

When is the left going to ANSWERE ONE QUESTION? Just one..... Give a solution not a bunch of talking head rhetoric.

Why does the media hate OUR president so much? why does the left hate and bash him so much?

could it be while george is offering solutions to problems the left is content in being an obstacle to anything MY president does...,

The left thrives on disaster and famine and killings of our troups, Just so they can get on tv and the world stage and defame our president, Cry and whine is the platform of the left.

Just try to get one single answere that contains a solutuion and all you will get is abstracts like "i can do better"
WE have a plan.. blah blah blah blah..... a bunch of non answeres is what we get from the left...

When will the idiots from the left WAKE UP and see all they cause is chaos!!!!!!

Ps for the left reading this DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE CONTENT HERE.. just bash my grammar and spelling, because thats what you do best... avoid and bash...

seems like this is more of a media problem than anything

can we lefties and righties all gang up on these media talking head jackasses?

that would be fun

I happen to agree with most of what you have written here, so I won't even pick on your grammar

cheers

The media's main goal is sensationalism, of course every disaster, ever causaulity, every death they would sieze upon and with their faked dolled eyes go on the air and report the news with a feigned grim attitude while secretly waiting for the next scoup. Make no doubt the media's political agenda is to itself first and foremost. Whatever sells the most, whatever makes people open up their papers and pocketbooks and whatever makes them tune in at 6:00 for the evening news. Why do they ceaselessly attack the president without offering solutions? Because that's what reporters do. They ask and ask and ask but when asked a question back they'll fire up another question as an answer.

What I have problem with is that Bush through a hissy fit because the media spiked the "stingy" statement as being specifically levelled at the US when it was not. So he got in his "I'll show you" mode and we are sending $350 million, which will be a fraction of the total price for the logistics to get it all there. 12000 troops, cargo planes are not going to be cheap. Its an overreaction to a perceived slight. Its also another swipe at the UN just because. The bias in the media is not for one side or the other, its for whatever is most sensational. This is what happens when the news becomes entertainment.

Why is it to rightwingers anyone they disagree with politically is a lunatic? This is true in every country it seems. Is every rightwinger a genius? Do they ALWAYS have the right answers? In fact, do they ever??

The contributions of the US, announced to date of $350m, do not include all the logistic support that is being sent out there even as we speak.  Aircraft Carriers and C130s do not move for free, nor are the soldiers that are out there now donating their time.  All cost a lot of money (as we saw in the war on Terrorism).

When all is said and done, when the US talley is totalled, they will have far outstripped all the other countries as they always do.  But will the media then sensationalize the real total?  ONly the way Katie Couric does - decrying how we can spend money running a deficit.

And the Left harpies of doom and gloom?  Will they come forward with a resolution PRAISING the president for spending money wisely and well? Want to buy a bridge in Brooklyn?

You are missing a couple of points here. First off there is a BIG difference between the left and the *lunatic left*. Maybe you should learn to differentiate between the two. I And I *do* (don't) hate to tell you this but Myr is part of the left and you don't hear him sqwacking do you?

I'd even go so far as to say I'm a part of the "lunatic" left. Meaning very extreme leftist here. But when Colin Powell said "Well, we've changed our figure based on new information," I can buy that as a reason for the money going from 15 to 35 to 350 million. Plus, our troops are being used to help distribute aid -- and that means I can now condone something the US military is doing, which makes me feel good.

And do I think 350 million will be the end? No, I think the number might grow higher. Will it be a strain with budget deficits? Of course it will, but that's a price worth paying. I'm frankly sick of the "Bush can do no right" rhetoric from my fellow leftists -- I'm actually happy to be able to say I think Bush did the right thing here. And it didn't hurt a bit to say it.

Well, you can call it a hissy fit, but many Americans got mad at that, and still are even after the lame appology.  Besides, you misunderstand.  We KNOW the clown implicated most of the western world, but then we do not throw 'hissy fits' when the French or Germans are insulted.  That is their turf.

this is from a leftist?

last time I checked...

I think they would have raised the amount anyway, as they received new information. Jan Egeland was a bit hasty in his comments.
