? about a new skin being installed

Hello friends:
In the past you've never let me down, when I come across something I can't seem to settle myself. You see; When I decide to install a new skin (Windowblinds) My zip program opens, instead of the old way, when I would click the "OPEN" box in my download protocal. And it would automatically install my new choice. Well, It has chosen a new way, and i'm not computer/clever enough to over-ride the sistuation. So. In short; is there someone that might be able to help me clear this problem?

Did you by chance install service pack 2? Try renaming the .zip to .wba and dbl-clicking to install.

Yes your very right. I did install service pack 2. But, im still a little perplexed. Can you without having to write a book, ehehehehehe... To explain to me how I change the tag to .WBA? That would be so wonderful if you could...

Well I did find a way to solve my problem... YOu see, I thought why not try and perform a search for .wba. And to my surprise, all of the skins that I had downloaded in the past and have not yet been able to use, were just waiting for the right time for me to unlock the mystery that has been Plaguing my mind. However; I would not ever have thought of it, unless I was put in the right direction and providing me with the help that I needed. I have so much thanks for the community that I had decided to join when I purchased and supported "Windowblinds". Your willingness shows that newbies like me are excepted along with the vets who've at what time in the past was in the same seat that I set in today.

Well I still need your help.. Sorry

Please help me find a way to be able to change whatever file's to .WBA. I thought I had figured it out. but I guess I was a little over Zealous.. Help Please? lol...

Control Panel/Folder Options/View> un-check 'Hide Extenions for Known File Types'...apply. Change .zip to .wba on your downloaded files.

Hi... I have done as you instructed by changing the checked folder in my folder options window. But im still not catching you on what you meant on changing .zip to .wba on my downloaded files.. can I possibly get you to elaborate a little more on that? It would be of great help.. Not that you haven't already.. lol.. Thanks... Please reply asap

Hi its me again... lol

OK. I after thinking about what you instructed. I did figure it out, and im good now. Although. I really wanted the one skin called. Window_screens. and it won't work for some reason... Too bad actually.. I really liked the preview version

well this should be my last entry... Remember me saying that I could not get the one skin to work? well I was able to figure it out with my feeble brain... And who ever it was that designed it... My hats off! great work... one of these days, if i'm smart enough, i'd like to contribute with my own designs. sounds like great fun... God bless to you all..

It is easy, say the name of a windowblind is....sun.wba. You download it and some how it is changed to ...sun.zip. Right click on it and click on rename and name it....sun.wba. Thats it.
