Images

Am I the only one with this problem?

if you are in the winamp library and you don't see the preview images, then yes, you are probably one of the few experiencing this problem. Can you see the image previews on the other libraries?

Do you have your browser set to hide images?

No. I cannnot see any images. well, I am using Mozilla Firefox...

Do you have it set so that firefox doesnt load images?

I cannot see any images either in firefox or IE, Both are set to load images, Any ideas please?

Do you have Zone Alarm?

If so it'll be down to that.

Add me to the list as well. All I get for previews is a tiny white square with a shadow and it isn't clickable to get the large preview. I tried both IE and Firefox with no improvement. Then I tried the WinCustomize Browser. Everything was back to normal! Would it be cynical to suggest that someone wants to promote the WinCustomize Browser?

Nothing cynical here at WC, something in your firewall settings must be blocking it. I can view previews both big and small using IE and Nortons.

I bet its ZoneAlarm.  Try configuring it to trust wincustomize.com and stardock.com.

I have this same problem. I am using Foxfire and I have Zone Alarm. I have shut Zone Alarm off to see if it is the problem but still cannot see any previews. I have scoured Firefox looking for the problem but cannot, for the life of me, see anything blocking it. One other thing - I have checked IE and cannot see any previews in there either. It must be something independent of the browser. Any ideas? Thanks

Zone Alarm > Privacy > Site List and add the following:

www.wincustomize.com
images.stardockcentral.net
images.stardock.com
images3.wincustomize.com
skins3.wincustomize.com

Enable all, except 3rd party cookies and Private header.

In Options > Ad Blocking, allow all in each site entry.

Thought at first it might've been the thumbs avoiding 'Insanitary' for fear of catching a germ or two.....but obviously it's not that, being others with more sanitised nicks ain't seeing 'em. either....

Tried fixing the zone alarm options. None worked. Allowed all scripts for the site in firefox. Still nothing. Also nothing in IE.

funny thing is, when i view the home page of wincustomize, it works out ok. i CAN SEE the thumbnails. but when i click on the pic to get a closer look, all i get is a little white box.


why oh why is this happening? please...helpppppppp
