Multiple desktops

I am a new user and want to know if there is a way to have multiple desktops. I use a laptop at work and school and want to have a separate desktop for each location.

Well there is a couple ways to do it, but the easiet way is if you are using Windows XP.on your log in screen just create another user and set up another desktop. It works. Hope it helped.

DX and ObjectBar have vwm mechanisms, Alt-Desk by Gladiator Software is a great vwm: http://www.astonshell.com/altdesk/index.html

Alt-Desk allows for different wallpapers on each desk
