My browser won't skin

I don't know if this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find it in the forums.
My problem is, I have just had to reformat my hard drive, and I lost all of my data in the process. I have managed to re-download and install my Stardock software again, but I am having a problem with Windowblinds...it refuses to skin my browser.
I am using IE, and I have no problems skinning everything else, just my browser. Before the reformat, it skinned fine and I don't know what I have to do to get it working again.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

It seems strange that WB would't skin IE. What version of WB do you use? Have you tried updating through SD-central?

Have you checked your Per application settings? Right-click on the WB sign in your systray > Configuration settings > Per Application. Is IE mentioned in there? (it should't be).

If nothing helps, I would try to unistall > reboot > reinstall.

hi, thanks for replying.
I have the paid WB version 4. I have tried updating via SD central. IE isn't in my per application settings, in fact nothing is.
I have also uninstalled and rebooted as you suggested...all to no avail. My browswer still refuses to be skinned. I am sure it must be a setting somewhere, or maybe an application I haven't installed yet...but I have no idea.
Thanks anyway.

Okay, I have found the solution...straight from the Microsoft knowledge base. I just had to remove the branding on the taskbar. Now the skin works like a charm.
