2 new features - set image for this icon, reducing windows workarea

it would be nice to set image not just by using programs name or windows class, but also by icon used by program. this way it will be possible to "skin" various program states. if program changes icon, object dock will change it too. for example you can set another image for connected and another one for disconnected state of trillian, new message etc.

setting of usable windows desktop workarea. like when u use standart windows taskbar with on top settings... i think there is somethink like that in desktopx. but why to use desktopx just for that

I agree. I will only buy this program if a facility is introduced to reduce the workarea so a dock (either tabbed or not) doesn't overlap application windows. Unless someone has a better solution?

It would need to support all screen edges, of course.

Oh, and why can't a dock contain application window icons (like the taskbar) /and/ tray icons at the same time? And why don't minimised application windows look a bit more obvious in the dock?

Let me say, however, that the zooming of icons completely floored me when I first installed the trial. That has to be the coolest effect I've seen in quite a while.
