Purple Status Bar

With about 50% of the skins I install, my status bar in any explorer based program is a purple-ish fluorescent color. How can I fix this?

I think you are refering to MagicPink. Many of the newer skins built for WB 4.X won't have all the parts skinned by the author for earlier versions of Windows. I believe around version 4.3, how the status bar is created was changed in SkinStudio to better accommodate porting of msstyles. If your running an earlier version of windows, your only options would be to open up the skin in SkinStudio and do some editing or through the view menu in a explorer window uncheck statusbar so that it doesn't show up. If you're running XP, then I have no clue.
