WindowBlinds/Windows 2000 skinning issue (please HELP)

Hi,

I recently installed WindowBlinds on my PC (Windows 2000) and noticed that everything was skinned except for the system-tray. Whenever I apply a new skin...the only thing that changes is the color but it still has the "Windows Classic" look to it.

Is this a settings issue or does WindowBlinds NOT "skin" the system-tray on Windows 2000??? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Which version of WB did you install - shareware, by chance? And the rest of the TaskBar gets skinned OK?

Certain features of WB are disabled in the shareware version by intent. I don't recall if SysTray skinning is one of them since I've not used a shareware version in nearly 3 years, but that could be it. I can assure you that the SysTray is normally skinned in the Enhanced version.

Cheers,

i use windowblinds on windows 2000 too, it does not skin the taskbar or system tray for me.

i found that object bar skins it quite well.
