Diplomacy & Alliances

I was wondering if Galciv2 could feature something along the lines that Alpha Centuari introduced when 2 races were allied. They could enter each others bases for repairs, decide on battle plans of attack or change them at the last minute. A Robust selection of actions to perform while in diplomatic talks etc. Being able to manipalulate the talks in a way to make it more realistic. Is there a chance that you will be able to include this sort of feature?

ying allied starbase bonus' to your race and vice versa may be doable though. Would make cultural flipping of allies much harder though as your cultural starbase would give them the same bonus!

Didn't galciv 1 lets you repair a ship when you moved it towards an allied planet?

Are you thinking of how you and the AI can ignore each others borders, build up a stack, and then attack your opponent? There are certain states that aren't "at war" that allow you to do that in SMAC.

I won my second game without firing a single shot, and it was a challenge to pull it off.
