Changing Themes

Hello,

I'm new to Object Dock and have been searching for the past couple of days to find a help manual which would teach me how to configure the Object Dock from beginning to end. Most of it I understand, but the one thing I can't figure out is how to switch from one theme to another theme. I want to change the default icons that are created when opening a program. I know how to change the program shortcut icon to what I want, and I know how to add icons and backgrounds, so that isn't the issue. Where do you find whole themes? And where would you place them within the Object Bar program file path that would allow you to see it when you try to load another theme. There isn't a way to browse for it, and the only thing that shows up is default. I tried copying an entire folder over to it, and it didn't work. The only thing I saw was Desktop and it failed when trying to load it. Thank you in advance for any help.

There aren't many "themes" for ObjectDock available for download. IF you find one it will have the file extension of .doctheme, and needs to be saved to the Themes folder in the OD directory.
Generally, you have to build your own themes, and save them in the OD Properties dialog, under General. This is also where you load themes.
Hope that helps.

BenOne3 is in!
If you are using the free version, click Configure Dock, select Load Theme from the Menu Bar ... maybe under Edit?
If you have ObjectDock PLUS, CLICK CONFIGURE DOCK and go into the General TAB, from there, select LOAD THEME.

Does this help? Email me at Email

should you not get it.
