Dual Monitor support?

I've been running the free download of desktopx for a while now, and absolutely love it. I've just bought a second tft screen for a dual monitor desktop. I'm not sure, but is there any way to use desktopx to control the second screen? for example having the workspace size limited, so when you maximize a window it doesnt fill the whole of the screen blocking the taskbar.

I can't find any way of doing this it all seems concentrated on the primary monitor.

Any ideas? (thanks in advance for any replies)

I've been using dual monitor set-ups at home and at work for years now. The control of whether maximizing crosses both screens and so on, is in the driver software for your video card. That is a level too low for a program like desktopX to control.

thanks for answering. Sorry I didnt make myself as clear as I could have.

I'm already running programs with the ability to drag across monitors, and to maximise in either window. My query, is that Desktopx only works in the primary screen. There doesnt seem to be any options for extending desktop x to a second screen, for example controlling the size of your workspace on a second screen. I can set it on my first, but not my second.

Any ideas?

thanks

I haven't tried but maybe you can expand the worktop space in the actual DX theme settings. I am at work right now without DX so I can't check. Alot of themes have the desktop space reduced. Why not try to increase the space in the theme settings? Just a thought.

I have installed UltraMon and everything seems to work across both monitors, including all of the apps....
