I have some thoughts about galciv 2 since I have played the first. First, I think that ethics should be a vital factor in the game like in alphacentauri. Second, the random events should not affect your alignment the same, if you killed a few animals it's better than if you sold human slaves to the aliens. And civilizations should have unique technologies. Also, it's good for the game to be highly customizable, you can turn on or off anything like anomalies to space monsters. And last, there should be a difficulty level that the AI is the most reasonable for an empire instead of just being able to predict like a chess game, and the ai dosen't cheat and it's a fair fight for everybody. What I mean by the Ai being reasonable is that so the ai acts like a civilization instead of a starcraft gamer building a barrack infront of a path to block a zerg rush as this is the best way in the game

The screenshot of the main interface is b-e-a-utiful!

Are the borderlines between races actually like that?

Do they shift if I add an upgrade to my starbase/planet?

Last we heard, yes. But until we get the code in our grubby little hands, we will just have to wait and see, won't we?
