You guys are going to love ObjectDock 1.1. There's a ton of little tweaks in there based on requests including a bit of a zooming when you mouse over an icon in a tabbed dock.

I agree, the subtle zooming on tabbed docks is nice.

Now we just need "Lock Dragging" on tabbed docks. But Jeff knows I want that, no surprise for him there.

I'd like an option to turn off the animation in the tab docks, but it is pretty cool.

I also wouldnt mind being able to have tabs on 2 edges of a box full of icons. That way, I could have a smaller box that still showed all the tabs.

CerebroJD, look in the advanced options, you can turn off the tabbed dock zooming animation there if its too much for ya

I like the new zoom, can you adjust the range?
I agree with Bluedev, I also would like a way to lock tabbed docks in position.

You know CerebroJD's 2 edge idea could be useful for placing square corner docks as long as you could define the stacking (rows & cloumns) of the icons. Tabs would invert or collapse on autohide.

Don't think there is any. It was just letting people know about the tweaks and little zooms. Don't think you'd actaully see a big difference in a screenshot. It's basicly small little details that perfect the bar.

I can't wait.....finally zooming in a tabbed dock and hopfully being able to lock the icons. Finally my dock will be complete.

The only other thing that would be great is if I could put a regular dock anywhere I choose.
