desktopx will not start

every time I try and run desktopx i get a message that it has a problem send error report after I do this it closes
have tried uninstalling it closing my pc down then re-installing it but still the same problem

first, download and install the newest version of the script engine. you'll be able to find it on microsoft's website. reboot and hopefully that should help.

also, you didn't offer much information to the error you get but try loading a blank theme. if that works, try loading a theme with a script. if it fails, then there's your problem. the above solution will fix that.

if after that it still doesn't work then,...i'd say a burial at sea would be fitting.
