yeah, I'm going to have to agree with drmiler on this one. They won fair and square, unlike some other elections (you all know which one I mean)

As long as the Democrats don't associate themselves with the fringe, and have candidates that actually have plans besides not being somebody, they should do much better.


I don't believe that Democrats associate themselves with the fringe. Its just that the Republicans have done a better job in prompting the view that the fringe of the left more represents the mainstream for Democrats that the fringes of the right connect to mainstream Republicans or in making the fringes of the right seem more palatable to America.

I'm not so sure about the "fair and square" part. But, I do think the bushies did win, but only by the skin of their teeth.

Having said that, I completely support the recounts and investigations into alleged voting discrepencies. I sure want to see some of these problems fixed before 2006.
