How can I get better performance out of WindowBlinds 4, Desktop X and Stardock utilities?

AMD2800XP 333mhz Barton Core (not OC). 1 Gig of ram, ATI 9700 pro AIW (latest drivers). SP2 and all the latest Microsoft updates.
I run my monitor at 1024X768 32 bit.

Normally when I am not running my Stardock utilities I have no issues with slowdown whatsoever. But when I run this stuff it slows my system down to a damned crawl.
Are there any suggestions for general system performance?

Running WindowBlinds, CursorXP, DesktopX, and ObjectDcokPlus (with 5 standard docks, 1 tabbed)......This is on an AMD1800XP, with 786MB of RAM.
I normally notice no slow down. Sometimes a slow down can be caused by certain DX themes. The only thing I can think of is maybe you should unload one app at a time, to find the one that's causing the problem, and we can go from there.
