Last week a letter by Bob Thomas was published in The Courier-Mail quite rightly asking where were all the Palm Island protesters (who are rioting over the alleged murder of an Aboriginal citizen by a police officer) when their women and children were being raped, bashed and murdered over the years. My response went something like this:
Probably the same place us whitefellers were while our women and children suffered the same fate.....down the pub! People in glass houses, Bob!
