Stardock is co-sponsoring the 2004 GUI Olympics. The GUI Olympics is an inter-website contest in which graphics designers from around the world submit skins, icons, and themes to compete for thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.
The 16 events focus on 3 areas: Visual Styles (in WindowBlinds format), Icons (in Stardock IconPackager icon packages), and Winamp 5 skins. $15,000 in cash and prizes are being handed out to top entries including 15 video cards from ATI (including 5 ATI Radeon 9800 XT cards), an xBox, and other goodies.
While the contest begins today, JUDGING won''t begin for over a month to ensure there''s enough time for people to create the skins and icons to enter in.
ANYONE can enter the contest.
