As far as I know, there aren't much info about Rainlendar skinning around. There is the Skinning.txt file, which gives some information about different settings, but that's pretty much all.

Probably the easiest way to start skinmaking is to take an existing skin and start to modify it.

All you need is a png background and just use the .ini file for the settings from another one and modify it to you likings...
