Hiya evco21....please be more specific...what type of theme or skin are you downloading? All themes and skins need specific software to run and at the top of every library page is a link for the software to run the theme or skin

if you are using XP with SP2....on some systems the file extensions are renamed *zip by XP. For window blind skins rename skin.zip to skin.wba then click on the *wba file to install. For desktopX themes, the file extension should be *dxtheme and again just click on it after renaming it.

right-click on the the zip file and choose rename. You'll be asked if you want to do this, click yes. After renaming the file, click on it and it will install automatically.

Go into Control Panel/Folder Options/View and uncheck 'Hide Known File Extensions' or you'll be renaming that file forever.

taht work but 2 more things then i will leave you alone one where do i save then at and 2 the vs worked but the the wallpapers not the know why?

If the WB skin included a wallpaper. Go to it's folder in WindowBlinds and you will find it there. If your skin is working, there is nothing to save. You can either delete the .wba file or back it up on another part of your disk in case you need to reinstall it.
