3d realtime rendered desktop

I hope someone here can help me.
A long time ago I once got a program that let you have 3d rendered desktops, like realtime 3d rendered scenarios going on as your desktop, using your hardware accelleration. It was really cool, and it let you even loop a video file as your desktop.
It had 3d rendered water and cool stuff as your background.
Does anyone know the name of this program?
(it's not http://www.3dna.net/, I know this)

There was a program called DreamRender that sounds similar to what your talking about, but it looks like the company that produced it is no more. Try googling "dreamrender" or searching shareware sites I'm sure you can still find a copy of it somewhere!

There is a group trying to bring Dreamrender back. http://www.microcyb.com/dreamforum/ It's a shame that it went down, it's a nice program that I have used for years.
