DesktopX vs ObjectDock
from
WinCustomize Forums
Heya all!
I'm still new here, although I've been trying DesktopX and other Stardock stuff couple of times now in last 2 years or so.
Thing that I'd like to ask, so I don't have to experiment myself, is:
Shouldn't everything that's done in ObjectDock and even IconX be possible in DesktopX by itself? Meaning, if I buy only DesktopX I would in turn (with a bit of work and modifications) be able to have same objects (look and functionality) around my desktop like someone with DX+OD+IconX.
Am I right here? It's been a while since my last venture into Stardock land, but I belive I've done a lot of things in DesktopX alone.. I don't want to run 10 programs if I can do it all in just one.
P.S. I ask mostly based on descriptions of iconx and objectdock on stardock.com and around wincustomize.com ..
