AltTabby disables alt + ` combination
- Open AltTabby Configuration and select any active interface style (e.g., Thumbnail, List, Icons, or Carousel view).
- Go to the Hotkeys section and ensure "Switch between windows of the same app with Alt + ` " is toggled Off (doesn't work with it toggled On as well).
- Open an application that relies on Alt + ` for its internal shortcuts.
- Press Alt + ` , the shortcut fails to trigger in the application.
- Return to AltTabby settings and select "Disable AltTabby" on the main Style screen.
- Press Alt + ` in the target application again — the shortcut now works perfectly.
Expected Result:
Turning off the "Switch between windows..." toggle should completely unhook the Alt + ` combination so that other applications can use it, without requiring the user to disable AltTabby entirely.
Actual Result:
AltTabby keeps a hard lock on the Alt + ` shortcut across the system for certain apps unless the entire software functionality is turned off.
Enviroment:
OS: Windows 11 Pro
Windows Version / OS Build: Version 25H2 (OS Build 26200.9168)
AltTabby version: 0.81
Thank you for your time, looking forward to a fix!
