Mods don't stay loaded between sessions

I've been having an issue since the latest patch...

Every time I open the game, it goes back to vanilla. It seems that I have to load the mods I'm using every time I open the game.

Is this normal now? Anyone else having this issue?

I don't have that problem. I suspect that you have some problems with writing to disk C. Most likely, you have a ban on changes to disk C. in documents. When the game is running, it uploads mods to the game in the background. And there are mods only in the game, but not on the computer.  Check your saves. They are there. Can you record and download the game?:

I have the same problem and my game is installed on drive G. Also I just installed mods through the game and how would I have changed any settings as far as writing to drive just by installing from the games mod section? Sorry not a programmer just a game player.

I just realised a have a similar issue. The mod stays loaded, because i can still chose the modded races, but when i go to "Modding", it starts downloading the mod and it is not listed in active mods, even though it is very much active. Kind of annoying to constantly redownload a 3GB mod to my SSD(s?).
