Can late game bliss be had for a price?

Thinking of upgrading to Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition. Reviewers are saying it's a stupid product aimed at no one. Reviewers are also saying AMD will probably never build a chip like this again.

Sins 2 is said to use all the cores you can throw at it. Sooner or later the price on this chip will fall out of orbit. 

Will Sins 2 put this chip to good use? Will it shine in the late game?

To the people who offered links to search engines in the above 2 referrals, thank you. I am trying to find an answer to this question not just for me but for our community. I was hoping Yarlen or someone with technical knowledge beyond my own or perhaps someone with practical experience testing chips like the 9950X3D2 would have stepped up and offered something. Maybe Yarlen or somebody will in the future.

As far as I know Sins 2 is not part of any tech channel's test suite so I came here. If Stardock or it's community doesn't run these kinds of tests then who will?
