WB10 - theme backup question

I'm using Windows 10 Pro and WB 10.89
I have roughly 200 themes installed.  I have made extensive mods to some of these themes, using the WB "Modify style" option.

I am trying to establish what I might need to do, in order to back up all my modified themes...
I know the active themes are installed in folder C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds ...
Can I just save a copy of this folder tree, and copy it to a new machine??
My assumption here, is that the original machine has become unavailable for some reason (let's assume a disk crash).

Could I install WB on a new machine, activate it, and then just copy this folder over the new machine???

Yes, that should work. I have done that several times. After you have copied the Windowblinds folder to the new machine, you should click the cogwheel in the upper right of the WB config screen a click the "Rebuild list"

Hello,

Looking back at this thread, your saved preset will be saved into "SkinName.WBO7" files. So if you copy over these files into correct folder, it should be carried over.

Thank you,

One more question on this topic:
I notice that there are a bunch of .dll and .wbp files in the base directory;
I am assuming that those are *not* related to any themes that I have installed, but are WB files, yes??
Presumably, if I back up from WB10.89 (which I am using) and restore to a Windows 11 machine using WB11, I wouldn't want to copy over any program files...

Or to ask the question backwards: is there anything in that root folder that I *would* want to include in this backup?

Copy the folder with your backed up skins over to new machine into C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\Windowblinds before you install Windowblinds on the new machine is the safest way to avoid conflicts.
