When I purchased this software, I was advised that the software was supported for a lifetime, but the DeskScapes 8 does not function with my new Windows 11 PC. I've tried the compatibility version to Windows 8 but did not want to work. Am I able upgrade to the newer version as this was a lifetime purchase?
Deskscapes 8 supports W7 and W8 32 and 64. It will not run on W10 nor W11. It was never guaranteed to run on anything but W7 and W8.
You were promised lifetime support on the compatible OSs, not on incompatible OSs.

Thank you for reaching out. DeskScapes 8 was originally designed for older versions of Windows and unfortunately is not fully compatible with Windows 11. The “lifetime” support you received applies to updates within the same major version (v8.xx), but it does not extend to new full versions released later, such as v10.xx or v11.xx. DeskScapes 8 should still work with Windows 7 and Windows 8 from that era, and it will continue to function indefinitely on those operating systems.
To use DeskScapes on Windows 11, you’ll need to upgrade to the latest version (DeskScapes 11). This version has been updated to work properly with modern Windows builds and includes new features and improvements.
If you purchased DeskScapes 8, you may be eligible for a discounted upgrade rather than paying full price.
